The Eye Behind the Lens
Photography found me before I found it. As a child, I carried my parents' first digital camera everywhere.
My first real photograph still sits in a frame. A cow walking down an alpine field, shot during a hike. I remember taking my time, watching the animal move through the frame, thinking about how I wanted it to look.
A photograph is a fraction of a second, yet behind it can live an entire world of emotion and meaning. The story doesn't have to be mine. Every person brings their own — and that is what I reach for with every image: not just something beautiful, but something that moves people.
